Nancy KoskiNancy is a native of northern Minnesota.  She studied at the University of Minnesota and moved to New Mexico to spend the next 35 years in a career in science.  Creative and artistic activities have always lured Nancy and after trying her hand at fabric arts, beadwork, oil painting, stained glass, silversmithing, basket making, calligraphy, and sculpture, she found her artistic calling in pottery.

Nancy began her training as a potter in 1984 at Ghost Ranch Conference Center is Abiquiu, New Mexico.  Her style was enhanced and refined through workshops exploring tile murals, colored clays, glazes, and general pottery techniques at the University of New Mexico, at Santa Fe Clay in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and through Arizona Clay Association.

Nancy has marketed her functional stoneware pottery in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, and as far away at the East Coast.  Her technical background and varied artistic interests are evident in the disciplined painted designs that have become the trademark of her style.  Designs range from calligraphy to whimsical cats, dogs, and horses that dance across each piece.  Small sculptural pieces, like banks and napkin rings, also incorporate whimsical animal designs.

Nancy moved her pottery business to Prescott, Arizona in October 2001.
